Jazz just jazz

One evening, it's been a year and a half ago I heard : Singing in the rain and I was not calm until you know who was the interpreter, whose re-interpretation of the famous Frank Sinatra song, I was fascinated and I found it, was: Jamie Cullum , pianist, composer and British singer .

Some of his recordings:

"Pointless Nostalgic" (2003 ) which version I like High and Dry, Radiohead original, and It Is not Necessarily So .

"Twentysomething" (
2004) of these were and there are many tracks that I listen and I listen again and again as ( which I like): These Are The Days , All at sea go I love this song .. . I'm all at sea / Where No One Can bother me ..., this album also finds that song you that I first heard: Singing in the rain
:-) I'm singing in the rain / Just singing in the rain / What a glorious feeling / I'm happy again ... or very particular version of Wind Cries Mary, who originally is from Jimi Hendrix and friendly I Could Have Danced All Night ...

"Catching Tales" (
2005) , which emerge between my favorite London Skies , is listening and singing saw Jamie Cullum at a presentation of a BBC program and go in the end make a mix so frantic, so characteristic, in particular is one of my favorites; also: Photograph, soft, beautiful in itself, or the glorious Mind Trick, which these days has become my obsession! and finally one that also pleases me is Oh God, part of the soundtrack of the latest Harry Potter movie.

Many of his songs are cover of renowned jazz musicians such as Fascinating Rhythm whose original version, made me listen to my bro: George Gershwin & Harry Connick Jr, or I Get a Kick of you of Cole Porter and many others whose names I heard for the first time and I remember. (Thx MK).

Basically I love the dynamism that prints Jamie Cullum to play piano and sing or the times you do percussion with wood, so graceful and rapid as the piano moves the micro and the scene ;-).

he departed from my fans to listen for example to Katie Melua, who saw in the Brit a duet with Jamie Cullum cover of The Cure: Lovecats , Michael Bublé, Norah Jones, among others ...

::: Mind Trick:::

Jamie Cullum

I missed the Opportunity
to get you babe to stay with me.
Never Thought, I'd regret the excuses that I've made
like a song,it will fade

If there's music in the night,
And it's really, really right,
It's the only thing I need.
it intoxicates your mind
All your troubles left behind
So come on and take my lead.
it's not just me who feels it
music plays a mind trick
watch me forget about missing you

so I put my feelings out to dry
love, one day again,
I'll have to try.
falling out, making up
It Seems Such a silly game
why do I never gain?

[Adeene]: I'm happy again :-)
