How To Force Someone To Sleep

LinuxChix-Peru - Part III

Too bad I did not take an accurate log of incidents of each meets :-(. So I will comment on some, and perhaps lots of them ...

::: First met:::

was funny that on this occasion none of them knew personally, only via its first e-mails on the lists, I do know them all, so it was that day we sat presents and began to tell more precisely that it was the idea of \u200b\u200bthe 'call for the formation of a Linux users group of girls', making it clear we would not be (or are) a feminist group, much less that we are against male, nothing to do with decay, but our aim would be to encourage girls are also participants in the use of technologies, specifically GNU / Linux and generally everything related to free software.

The first meets and we were almost all that would form the core group of LinuxChix-Peru:
  • Patricia Salas Karina aka PathsLu
  • Karys
  • Villanes aka aka Ace
  • Angelin Venegas Sahm aka Sara Mostajo
  • RocĂo Castillo aka Gabriela aka Chio
  • Gabbil
that day at the end of the meets I was very happy to see that this initiative was shared.

As initially had invited me to join the group, I was very fair that was why the invited, in agreement with all of them that if they believed and had friends that they knew they could be involved with the group, invited. It was so long before we expect to close the initial group training ... That was when they decided they did not want to integrate or another and were invited but did not receive any response he closed the group, by then joined the team:

  • aka Fabiola Pariona Dolphin and
  • aka Ninamango
  • Ysbelt Ysbelt

And so we are part of LinuxChix-Peru grupo_fundador

Last minute note: Ace just called me a couple of minutes and told me that on the page have a APESOL 'news' on the formation of the group and their next release ;-) wiii!.

[Adeene]: Jey! not fair I wanted to keep reading!, there's more to tell, that for the following post: IV
